The Practice of Holding Life Gently
(almost) Every Monday LIVE at 5 PM PT
Meditation is a way to rest and relax, but also to practice focusing on the present moment. Join the live Monday Meditations directly here on Mondays 5 PM PT.
(Not sure what time that is for you? Here’s a handy time converter.)
Why Meditate?
“The miracle of Love comes to you in the presence of the un-interpreted moment. If you are mentally somewhere else, you miss real life.”
Byron Katie
In life, we are often either focused and tense or relaxed and unfocused. Being able to hold a relaxed focus on life as it happens right now improves your efficiency, your joy in life, and your overall mental (and physical) health.
Meditations Beyond The I
The concerns of the Ego keep us from being in present in meditation and from being present in life.
This series of meditations brings awareness to these concerns and inquires into who we are beyond the limited understanding of egoic identity.
In 7 weeks, we’ll look at who you are, and at who or what you could be without that limited story of your life.
Course dates are June 24th – August 5th, every Monday at 5 PM PT.

You’ll get email reminders every Monday with the appropriate Zoom link, as well as a private link to the recording if you can’t make the time.
Donations accepted of $5 / $10 / $20 per week.
If you desire to commit to your practice I suggest donating $70 or $140 for all 7 weeks; this way, you will be more likely to make the time to meditate.
Meditation in itself is not difficult. It just needs practice.
These Monday Meditations allow you to be guided into the feeling of blissful relaxation and connection with your true self. This feeling of bliss and homecoming helps you to WANT to continue the practice on your own.

In 2024, we will share a variety of meditations of 15-30 minutes.
We will touch on different areas of mindfulness, loving-kindness, and awareness of the Self.
We will circle through basic mindfulness meditations on breath and body awareness, contemplate the layers of egoic identity, and progress to guided visualizations. This ‘curriculum’ can help you get a practice started, have a refresher, or just give yourself a moment to relax on a Monday night.
Each meditation is a stand-alone practice – it is complemented by the other meditations but does not need them to be complete.
For best results, sign up below to get the link in your inbox every week –
or just join the live meditation here.
This is for you, use it to relax, reset, and hold all parts of you in mindful loving kind awareness.
If you can’t make the time you will get an email with a link to the recording on YouTube. You are free to share those meditations with others and leave comments below the YouTube video – these comments ensure that more people become aware of this free resource.

Using Mudras in Meditation
This is a 2024 series of 8 meditations.
Mudras are hand and finger positions that subtly influence the energetic body. They are part of the yogic tradition of meditation. Mudras can help us balance, focus energy on a specific area or task, realign, relax, or energize.
In this series, I’ll introduce you to 12 different mudras you can use in meditation.
You can access the first meditation of that series using Gyan Mudra here.
Your meditation teacher …
is not a certified meditation teacher.
Stef Skupin has practiced daily meditation since 2009. She taught basic meditation for the Art of Living organization in South Africa from 2009-2014, and since 2012 has created and facilitated retreats and meditation classes. For her own continued deepening into the practices of meditation and mindfulness, she graduated from the School for Awakening with Eckhart Tolle and Kim Eng in 2018 and completed the Power of Awareness course with Jack Kornfield and Tara Brach (Jan-April 2023).
“I’ve always been drawn to the silent spaces. I didn’t grow up religious but even as a child I loved the serene and contemplative environment of churches and certain spaces in nature. When I was teaching meditation for the Art of Living, I was given the Yoga Vashishta, an ancient text on the illusory nature of the universe and the role our mind plays in forming our world. Reading this text felt like coming home. It was like out of a sudden, everything that had been so confusing in this world before was now making sense.
I’m not someone who went through a drastic awakening experience. It’s more like my whole life long, the veil is slowly becoming thinner. I’m clear that only when we pay meticulous attention to what is right in front of us, and look past the labels of what we think we know – only then do we get to live awake. And actually, it is there for everyone.”
